In 1992 Susanna and I decided relatively quickly that we wanted to see the world, to explore and experience the planet
we live on. We're not rich, it wasn't handed to us to do this, we decided to do it and did what we had to to make it
happen. We gave up a lot - sold our home, left the business and quit our jobs. However we gained so much
more in the end - an adventure, a story, a better perspective and outlook on life, a better sense of ourselves, and I
guess most of all, happiness and a real joy for life. Everything in life is a miracle.
So many people want to travel the world but they think they need to win the lottery to do it. You don't, Susanna
and I would work 6 months, for minimum wage and then travel 6 months. We did this for 4 years and if I were braver
I'd do it for 20 more.
If you really want to travel and just keep putting it off understand this, everyone including you and me can make
a list as long as your arm, if not longer, of reasons not to do it. I can only give you one meaningful one to do it
- you only have ONE life to live, so live it. You will gain so much more than you might ever lose.
In the great scheme of life - It's LATER than you think! :)
